Edward Lorenz dead

After Wheeler now Edward Lorenz–father of Chaos theory–died. He coined the term butterfly effect. While studying computer science in Linz I was very impressed by chaos theory and its implications.
Above you can see a strange attractor, the Lorenz attractor, which looks like a butterfly and were introduced by Lorenz in 1963.
