Another busy weekend

I hope this is the last really busy weekend this year. After we got the kitchen on tuesday we decided to paint the walls in the living room this week (what we didn’t do because of lack of time). So my job this weekend will be to paint the walls and then board the floor. This is mainly the last of many steps and after 10 weekends full of working and no recreation I am really happy that this is (hopefully) the last one in this series.

I’ll see on sunday how far I got this time (boarding the floor alone will take about 9 hours and painting isn’t a quickie too).

Edited to add: It was a busy weekend and the painting job was very time consuming and I only managed to board a fourth of the floor.  So I did not reach my goal ..

But I think this week I will bring this to an end.
