Today: Last total lunar eclipse until 2015

Date February 20, 2008

In the night from Wednesday to Thursday there will be the last visible total lunar eclipse until 2015. The eclipse can be seen from 2:21 to 6:31 AM here in Austria.

From 4:01 to 4:51 AM the moon will be completely covered by earth’s shadow. This means getting up early tomorrow!

Edited to add: Nothing to see here in Linz, it was very cloudy. :(
